Valerie Schnabelrauch

Valerie holds a BSME and MSME from Kettering University (formerly GMI) with focus on design of test configurations, data acquisition and data analysis for crash safety. She started her career as a co-op at Tenneco Automotive where she performed silencer flow and acoustic testing and vehicle sound quality studies in support of exhaust system design. At Sound Answers since 2011, Valerie has supported a variety of NVH projects including product noise and vibration troubleshooting, system and component-level target setting, sound power and other standardized testing. She has also performed structural and vibro-acoustic modal testing of vehicle and components for correlation of FE models. In 2013, Valerie worked on-site at a transplant vehicle OEM for a year, where she was responsible for conducting vehicle benchmarking studies in support of new vehicle target-setting. Valerie has co-authored a technical paper on the subject of electric park brake sound quality.
