Eric holds a B.S. in Acoustic Engineering from Purdue University and is currently a candidate at the University of Michigan for a Master’s Degree in Engineering Program and Project Management. Eric first worked for five years as an NVH Engineer in the Torque and Traction Technologies division of Dana Corporation, where he specialized in the NVH characteristics of driveline components (e.g. axles, driveshafts, transfer cases). In this position, Eric also commissioned and managed the daily operation of Dana’s 4WD Chassis Dynamometer. Eric then joined MTS Systems as a Project Engineer, where he was primarily involved with troubleshooting tests and identification of countermeasures for a variety of different products. After MTS’s termination of operations in Noise Vibration and Harshness, Eric worked as an NVH Engineer at Magna Steyr where he was involved with integration of diesel engines for North American vehicle OEMs. Eric joined Sound Answers in 2006 where he continues to specialize in Troubleshooting, Noise Path Analysis, Road Noise, Modal Analysis, Sound Quality, Jury Analysis, Sound Intensity, and Rotating Machinery. Since 2012, Eric has also served as the company’s Operations Manager where he oversees logistics, resource allocation and scheduling. Eric is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner and acts as Project Manager for the largest projects conducted by Sound Answers. Eric has authored/co-authored several technical papers.
