Brian holds a BSEE from Kettering University (formerly GMI). Brian started his career as a co-op at Valeo in the Climate Control Division, where he worked in the NVH lab with a focus on measurement of blower motor and cooling system noise. Since joining Sound Answers as Project Engineer in 2010, Brian has supported several vehicle NVH development programs throughout all phases of the development cycle, from initial target setting using the NVH simulator to validation testing, troubleshooting, countermeasure development, and launch support. These programs included diesel, hybrid, and fully electric powertrain systems. For Brian’s first vehicle development project he was part of a Sound Answers team on-site at the OEM. Upon returning to Sound Answers in 2013, Brian has acquired experience in acoustic package design and optimization, source-path-contribution approach for a variety of ground vehicles and measurement of door closure sound quality. Brian has co-authored one paper on adapting a conventional vehicle platform for an electric powertrain.
